Inhaca Island Mozambique: Relax in paradise
Your South Africa vacation can be extended to a tropical paradise. Only an hour's flight from Johannesburg you will arrive in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. From there, a transfer will take you to Inhaca Island. The journey takes about an hour. Once there, the friendly staff of your beautiful lodge will welcome you, where you will be staying for the next three nights. Inhaca Island also offers some fantastic activities (optional - not included in the tour price): Bird viewing, Inhaca is home to more than 300, colourful bird species. Otherwise, all kinds of water sports activities that a tropical island has to offer can be done; such as Diving, snorkelling, surfing, kayaking. How about a 1.5 - 2 hour romantic sunset cruise? You can also take a guided excursion to the Inhaca Lighthouse. The more adventurous can then take a walk of about 3 km through sand and tropical forest to get directly to the lighthouse. You also have the option to take short walks on the beach. Numerous natural pools invite you for a dip where you will spot numerous small sea-animals. How about a 2-hour walk from your lodge to a biological museum, which is maintained by the University of Maputo?There are very interesting insights into life under water.
